Less than 13% of Wikipedia contributors are women, and this gender imbalance has a profound effect on Wikipedia’s content. Join us for an afternoon of raising our digital voices and changing the stats.

Not in Brisbane? Show your support by editing from around the world.

Steps for participating:

1. RSVP to Louise Mayhew: l.mayhew@griffith.edu.au.

2. If you don’t already have a Wikipedia account, please create one [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:CreateAccount]
You don’t have to use your real name!, and add some info about yourself to your user page. (If you need help with this, you can do it at the event.)
Already have an account? Great! Now’s a good time to recollect your username and password.

3. Once you have an account, enrol to have your edits tracked here: https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/QCA,_Griffith_University/Art_Architecture_and_Feminism_Brisbane?enroll=

On the day:

4. Bring a laptop and power cord.

5. Writing a new article on an artist/architect? Scroll down to “Use to draft template”

Co-hosted by Griffith Centre for Creative Arts Research (GCCAR), Griffith University and Queensland Gender Equity Committee (QGEC) of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA)
