Come enjoy art, science and drinks at the Ecosciences Precinct!
The evening includes a presentation, Q&A, drinks and nibbles, plus time to view the seventh Art meets Science Exhibition.
Art Lab will feature Madeleine Kersting Flynn as a guest speaker. Madeleine is an artist specialising in medical and scientific illustration, digital and traditional media, 3D modelling and animation, and graphic design. Currently artist in residence at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Madeleine will talk about her experiences with art in science environments and how it can help us communicate about science.
The annual Arts meets Science Exhibition opens Monday 13 August and closes 7 September. This is your only chance to see the art-science projects outside of work hours! And several of the artists will be available on the night to answer questions about their work.
