The Gallery @ BACC is proud to introduce the Bayside Biennial Acquisitive Art Prize (BAAP) and exhibition. The BAAP is a biennial prize and exhibition that aims to increase opportunities for participation in Bayside’s arts and cultural program, foster a sense of identity, pride and place in Bayside through a community event, and enable the acquisition of suitable artworks for the Bayside City Council Art & Heritage Collection.
In 2015, the inaugural year of the Prize, entries must be executed primarily in a paint medium on a 2D support. Entry cost is $30 per artwork.
Prizes are as follows:
Major Acquisitive First Prize: $15,000
Local Art Prize: $3,000
People’s Choice: $1,000
