Each year Boxcopy presents a curated program of exhibitions and events through a process of invitation and proposals. We welcome proposals for exhibitions and projects from artists, curators and collectives. The next review date for proposals is 31st May 2013.
Boxcopy is now accepting proposals for our 2014 Exhibition Program.
For submissions please include a completed Gallery Application Form, along with a CV (2 pages), artist statement (1 page) and 10-20 digital images of recent work.
Email your proposal to info@boxcopy.org. Proposals for the 2014 Exhibition Program will be reviewed 31st May, 2013.
At Boxcopy we work closely with exhibiting artists to support the development and production of new works within a critical context.
For each exhibition we provide: gallery space for 4 weeks including one week dedicated install time; installation assistance and curatorial support; promotion of exhibitions through e-invites and online listings; invigilation and an opening event. We also publish an exhibition catalogue with a commissioned essay; and facilitate an artist talk with each show.
In addition, we have consistently paid artist fees to contribute towards material costs and the creation of new work – this amount is subject to funding.
