Applications to exhibit at Alternating Current Art Space are now open for July to December 2018.
We welcome applications from emerging/established artists, interstate and overseas artists, curators, arts collectives, organisations, independent launches and festivals, for solo or curated group shows.
Alternating Current Art Space is an artist-run-space in Melbourne operating four main gallery spaces plus The Cupboard, a small project space.
Our exhibition schedule is packed with early and mid-career contemporary artists working in a wide range of mediums. Our ethos is to encourage artists to experiment and take risks, to provide a supportive environment for artists and to uphold a sustainable model of gallery operations.
AC is a newcomer in the greater Chapel Street Arts Precinct and strives to contribute to the artistic community in Melbourne and beyond.
