Canberra Contemporary is seeking a Curator + Program Manager to join its small and dedicated team and help shape the future of contemporary art in Australia. This part-time role (0.8 FTE, 30 hours per week) is ideal for an experienced arts professional with strong curatorial, project management, and organisational skills.

The Curator + Program Manager will curate in-house exhibitions and special projects with partner organisations, while also supporting artists and external curators to realise ambitious artistic projects and public programs. The role is responsible for all aspects of exhibition management, including program planning and delivery, exhibition install and deinstall, drafting exhibition and loan agreements, managing freight logistics, overseeing project budgets, and providing technical support.

The position may also contribute to broader organisational operations, including supervision of casual staff, mentorship of emerging artists, research and writing, catalogue design and production, building maintenance, WHS responsibilities, and event technical support.
