Horizon Festival 2026
Horizon Festival returns in 2026 to celebrate ten years of creativity across the Sunshine Coast, presenting a bold 10-day program of more than 35 events across Kabi Kabi and Jinibara Country. The milestone program spans visual art, performance, music, workshops and public experiences staged across diverse locations — from shoreline performances and hinterland settings to street-based events in Maroochydore. Horizon Festival explores connections between people and place, bringing together local and national artists in a program designed to transform everyday spaces into sites of creative encounter. The festival includes First Nations-led gatherings, immersive experiences and new works developed in response to the Sunshine Coast’s unique landscapes and communities. Presented by Sunshine Coast Council, Horizon Festival has become a key cultural event in the region, supporting artists while inviting audiences to experience art in unexpected places.
