Chase Archer’s new series invites viewers to engage in a sense of visual glossolalia, transcending the confusion that is deliberately at play. Glossolalia is a phenomenon where a person speaks a language unknown to them.

“Glossolalia is like the moments when you are lying in bed trying to get to sleep and your consciousness slowly recedes while your subconscious begins to creep up and lift the curtain on the theatre of your mind. Your imagination conjures up strange combinations of images and symbols, memories that often don’t even feel like your own. I take these moments and attempt to give them a sense of physicality.” Chase Archer
