QUT PhD candidate Chris Howlett will present his thesis exhibition New Statements (2016-19) at the Creative Industries Precinct in Kelvin Grove 15-17 May, 2019.
New Statements is a new media exhibition that showcases an installation of interactive and screen-based Machinima works. This practice–led research project explores the operations of a ‘techno-stice’ that demonstrates digital technology’s capacity to generate dissensual space and forms of subjectivity, as well as new ethico-political perspectives in contemporary art.
