Deadline:

Deadline:20th October, 10:30 - 12:30pm

Have you ever wanted to own a personalised pair of drinking glasses? Join glass artists Jo Bone and Aaron Micallef as they guide you through the processes of stenciling, masking and sandblasting, to design and create your own matching glassware. You will be shown how to realise your design as a permanently etched and durable image on the glass surface. Select a pair of tumblers or wine glasses and personalise them for yourself, or as a gift for a friend. Jo and Aaron will bring their portable sandblaster, an item of studio equipment employed by many glass artists to achieve texture, fine details and surface finishes on their work.

Join us for this fun workshop – an adventurous foray into the world of creative glass design and manufacturing!

What is provided:

– Basic safety gear provided
– Selection of quality glassware, two items provided per ticket (option to buy more on the day)

What to bring:

– Extra cash in case you would like to purchase and decorate additional glasses (if time allows)
– Ideas / drawings for inspiration (optional)
