A exhibition of new works on paper by artist Donal Fitzpatrick.
Donal has held numerous senior academic positions including Head of Design and Art at Curtin University, Perth, WA, Head of Creative Arts and Humanities, Charles Darwin University, Head of Fine Arts, Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand, Head of Visual Arts, QUT, Brisbane and Head of Fine Arts, University of Western Sydney.
Donal studied Fine Art and Philosophy to Honours and holds a Master of Fine Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. His research interests are in contemporary Art and Philosophy with a particular interest in cross cultural theory and the work of Alain Badiou. He is an artist currently represented by Woolloongabba Art Gallery in Brisbane and is a writer and former critic for the West Australian newspaper.
