The Du Rietz Art Awards are the premier visual arts competition for the Gympie region, celebrating excellence in 2D and 3D visual art from across Australia. Named after the architect of the historic School of Arts building that houses the gallery, the Awards aim to showcase a stunning range of artistic talent and vision.
With a prize pool exceeding $15,000, the competition is open to all Australian artists working in both 2D and 3D formats.
