Deadline:

WHEN : 8th – 16th November / Opening 8th Nov, 6:00pm
WHERE : The Hold Artspace

The Hold Artspace is proud to present this special dual exhibition of new works by Anne Ooms, Catriona Stanton and Julie-Anne Milinski.

Ooms and Stanton’s exhibition Echo will display works made through the pair’s unique collaborative process. Ooms’ drawing based work and Stanton’s sculptural practice are directed by one another through a ‘call and response’ methodology. The resultant installation will celebrate the influence these artists have had on each other and explore external influences of nature, mythology and culture.

Julie-Anne Milinski’s exhibition, Geniculum continues an ongoing exploration of domesticated botany. Real and constructed flora entangle to muddy dualities of nature / culture, masculine / feminine, hand-made / mass-produced, craft / art, organic / inorganic.
geniculum (latin), n. a knot in a plant.
