PARKER Contemporary celebrates its inaugural year with Edition One, a spring exhibition that brings together a curated selection of works from the gallery’s stockroom. Over the past twelve months, PARKER Contemporary has presented ten exhibitions, participated in three art fairs, and established Queensland’s first dedicated gallery space for contemporary art focused on printmaking and papermaking.
This milestone show reflects the breadth and vitality of artistic practices that have shaped the gallery’s first chapter. From experimental approaches to traditional techniques, the works on display highlight the many ways contemporary artists are pushing the possibilities of printmaking, papermaking, and artist books.
Opening Event: Saturday 27 September, 6–9pm
This exhibition is both a celebration and a moment of gratitude—acknowledging the artists, collectors, and supporters who have been integral to the gallery’s journey so far.
