Persona non kata is the first solo exhibition by photo media artist Emma Wright. An exploration of stereotypes, Persona non kata considers the ease with which we use such social shortcuts, and the misunderstanding they facilitate.
Using constructed scenes and performance, Wright responds to stereotypes, turning them into absurd self-fulfilling prophecies, challenging the viewer to label her.
