Rising to prominence in the last decade, Italian artist Fabio Giocondo quickly achieved national and international recognition for his art, winning numerous prizes throughout Europe.
His thought-provoking work is classic, oil on canvas with a sixteenth century colour palette and predominately portrays the human figure in theatrical and often distorted ways.
Giocondo has been exhibited in the Vatican Gallery, and in galleries throughout Italy as well Brussels, Monte Carlo and Hamburg. The Fallen Human is his first exhibition in Australia.
