Coffee and Conversation

Bring your coffee, and meet Mona Ryder in conversation with Bec Mac at the Old Ambo, Nambour. The artist’s work explores themes of domesticity, gender politics and memory through her multi-media practise – a practice that spans more than 4 decades and has been exhibited widely.  Book now.

Peer Dialogue Sessions with Mona Ryder

This is a professional development opportunity for practising artists to spend one on one time with established artist Mona Ryder. During your half hour informal meet you will be able to discuss and explore artistic practice, concepts and practicalities relevant to your area of creative practice. These sessions are offered free of charge to encourage peer dialogue and creative development of emerging and established artists and creative practitioners. Limited spaces. Registrations essential.

Workshop

Creative Embroidery $40 Saturday 10 April with Sharka Borsakova

Create your own embroidery, sharing observations, diverse cultural practises and inspirations in personal space. Bring an old garment to revamp such as a T-Shirt, tote, cotton or linen skirt, denim jacket or shirt.
