Fresh Eyes 2025 is a biennial exhibition that invites four artists to respond to the evolving landscape of the Moreton Bay Region. Against a backdrop of rapid growth and transformation, the exhibition considers how change is witnessed in the land, the community and within the self.
Rachel Bywaters, Zartisha Davis, Amanda Ivy Gardner and Emily McGuire present new bodies of work shaped by their relationship to this changing place. Their artworks reflect on the spaces that reveal growth, evolution and obsolescence, and on the stories that tie people to particular landscapes and histories.
Continuing the Fresh Eyes series, the exhibition asks what draws artists to depict certain sites, and how these images capture both personal connection and broader regional shifts.
Exhibition developed by City of Moreton Bay. Free entry. All ages welcome.
Gallery hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–4pm.
