Have you ever thought about how you might die, or ever fantasized about a possible fatal accident or murder?
Artists Fiona Lascelles and Tony Nyberg have been surreptitiously posing this question to various people for years. In this new series of works, the very people answering these hairy questions become the actors within their own fantasy death scene. The result being a sort of negative self portait of remarkable macabre beauty. Part Hitchcock, part Gregory Crewdson, these constructed images of an often black humored death carry all the weight of a conceptual punch in the stomach.
