Brought to you by Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) Foundation’s Indigenous Fashion Projects (IFP), in partnership with iconic Australian retailer David Jones, the Pathways Program has been designed to facilitate support for First Nations designers in the commercial development of a fashion label.
Providing a platform to engage in the sharing of stories and culture, the Pathways Program sees participants take part in a series of industry workshops and mentorship from Australian designer heavyweights.
To date, the program has cumulated in two stand out shows at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, historic pop-ups at David Jones’ flagship stores, and has seen award winning designers emerge to take the globe by storm.
