The IMA Program Assistant is a part-time position created to support an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander arts worker in the early stages of their career. The candidate will work closely with the IMA team across a range of areas–including programs, curatorial, and operations–to prepare them to become a future Australian arts sector leader.
Suitable for an entry level arts worker, recent graduate, or current student, the candidate will gain experience across all aspects of gallery and institutional management. This role can be tailored to suit the candidate’s professional development interests, and includes a $1,500 professional development/travel bursary for the candidate to pursue career-building opportunities.
