Deadline: 30 October

Creative Brimbank and Brimbank City Council invite artists and collectives to apply for the In-site: Brimbank Environmental Art Residency — a six-month residency program supporting environmentally engaged creative practice grounded in place.

Running from 1 February to 1 August 2026, the residency provides $5,000 in financial support, access to a dedicated studio or office space, and opportunities to exhibit or activate work across Brimbank’s creative venues, including the Bowery Gallery, Brimbank Gallery, and Brimbank Projection Gallery.

Artists will be encouraged to explore and respond to environmental, ecological, and social themes within the local landscape. Selected residents will also engage with the community through workshops, public programs, or site-specific projects that foster creative exchange and dialogue about the relationship between people and the natural world.

This residency offers professional development, curatorial support, and an opportunity to create work that contributes to Brimbank’s growing environmental arts ecology.
