Entries for the Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2018 (JUWSPA 2018) open Friday 2 July.

Presented by Gallery at HOTA and supported in perpetuity by the Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Foundation for the Arts, the photography award is an exciting platform for established and emerging Australian photographers to showcase their work.

Introduced in 2002, the annual competition is considered one of the most important awards for contemporary Australian photographic practice.

JUWSPA is also one of Australia’s most generous photography awards with a prize value of up to $50,000. First prize is a $25,000 acquisitive cash prize and the Gallery will award up to an additional $25,000 in acquisitions to a selection of finalists.

All works selected as finalists will be exhibited at the Gallery at HOTA from 20 Oct – 25 Nov.

The winner will be announced at an official opening event on the evening of Friday 19 October.

HOW TO ENTER
Submissions are accepted via the online entry form only. A $40 non-refundable application fee applies to all entries, payable via credit card.
