Keith Burt was born in Sydney, educated in Melbourne and lives and works in Brisbane. Mostly recently he was awarded Finalist Archibald Portrait Prize 2017. In 2015 he was included in the 15 Artists exhibition at Redcliffe Art Gallery and was commissioned to paint the head of the Australian Medical Association Dr Christian Rowan in 2013. In 2012 he painted several commissioned landscapes for Churchie Anglican Grammar School.
