Kirra Jamison’s latest body of work is a continuation of her exploration into large scale botanical shapes and forms. Currently based in Melbourne, Jamison hails from Byron Bay and is graduate of the Queensland College of Art at Griffith University in Brisbane. She completed further study at the world recognised California Institute of the Arts.

Her work has been exhibited widely at public and private galleries across the country, including the Linden Centre for Contemporary Art, Museum of Brisbane, Newcastle Regional Art Gallery and the University of Queensland Art Museum. She has been regularly acknowledged for her work and received the Anne and Gordon Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship and was a finalist in the Arthur Guy Memorial Prize. Jamison’s work is held in several corporate and public collections, including Artbank, KPMG, Microsoft and the Samstag Collection at the University of South Australia.
