For the ninth year, Lethbridge Gallery has supported artists and held the Award offering $10 000 prize money to the winner.
The exhibition will showcase a variety of artworks all measuring less than 60cm in diameter, by emerging and mid-career Australian artists and are priced to be very affordable to the buyer. It creates a unique opportunity to see and buy the artists of tomorrow.
This year the gallery is pleased to announce their ongoing partnership with Art Shed Brisbane who are sponsoring the category prizes in this year’s Award. This will comprise of five $300 vouchers for art materials at the Art Shed. This year we are introducing five $200 vouchers thanks to Brisbane Digital Images.
The exhibition opening event will take place on 14 July 2018 with the announcement of the winner and presentation of the prizes in the evening. The opening night proves to be the biggest night of the exhibition year for the gallery with hundreds of people in attendance for the chance to see and buy a great collection of artworks from emerging artists and to enjoy the excitement and anticipation of the build up to the announcement of the winner.
