Join us for a special life drawing event facilitated by noted Australian artist Luke Roberts. Luke will guide participants through a formal life drawing class focussed on the importance of foundational drawing practices. Refreshments and drawing materials will be supplied, however participants are also encouraged to bring their own journals and/or media. WHEN: Wednesday 28 August, 6-8.30pm WHERE: Griffith University Art Museum, 226 Grey St, South Bank COST: $20.00 ABOUT LUKE ROBERTS: An esteemed alumnus of the Queensland College of Art, Luke has shown prolifically across Australia including solo shows at the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane; Australian Centre for Photography, Sydney and QAGOMA, and has had his work featured in landmark group exhibitions including The National, Sydney (2018), Sydney Biennale (2002), the Asia-Pacific Triennial (1996) and Australian Perspecta (1991 & 1995). His work has also been shown internationally including at Singapore Art Week (2018), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid (2003) and PS1, New York (1997).
