Made Here Now sees three local up-and-coming Brisbane based designers, Benjamin Breitenstein, Forrest Gillham and Julian Munro, convert artisan’s shopfront into a functioning design studio / communal workspace / pop-up exhibition. This innovative project invites the public, students and design professionals to come in and engage with design in a number of ways:
- Use the studio as your workspace
- Chat with designers
- Try out and purchase your own piece of local design
The studio features new furniture, product design, lighting, and print design made or selected by Benjamin, Forrest and Julian, and are all for sale. The three designers will be working in the space at various times over the course of the exhibition.
