For her exhibition ‘The Country Within’ at IMA Belltower, palawa woman Mandy Quadrio has created a series of large-scale sculptures using a natural material rich with spiritual and cultural meaning: Tasmanian bull kelp.

Quadrio invites you to learn about the physical process of manipulating Tasmanian bull kelp, while hearing stories that reveal the power and cultural significance of this unique natural material to her people and Country.
