Spending the last 16 years documenting the hip hop scene, Mel D. Cole ( @meldcole / MelDCole.com / Villageslum.com) has worked with HUNDREDS of artists including the likes of:
The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Tyler, The Creater, Kanye West, Puff Daddy, Drake, Lil Wayne, Action Bronson, J. Cole, Beyonce, Jay Z, Chance The Rapper, Kid Cudi, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, R.Kelly, Denzel Curry, Joey Badass, Young Ma, Trey Songz + MANY MORE.
Mel D. Cole is also know for his clothing collaborations with labels such as Flud watches, Etnies and Leroy Jenkins – his latest being with Legendary soccer brand Umbro.
‘The American Music Photo Exhibit’ will showcase images spanning a vivid 15 year career working within the American hip hop community, from the recording studios in NYC, to the streets on Kenya.
