‘Middle Ground’ presents the current stages of studio research by Fine Art Honours candidates from Queensland College of Art. Ranging from painting, sculpture, installation, textiles, jewellery and performance, ‘Middle Ground’ serves as a dynamic and eclectic showcase of emerging contemporary practitioners. Each artist has spent the year to date engrossed in the theoretical and practical project of their own direction. Half way through the year long program, the exhibiting artists reveal a taste test of their labours and a hint of things to come.
A panel discussion will be held at the gallery on Wednesday the 7th of August from 6pm – 8pm.
