STABLE

SO LONG CRYPTIC ERA invokes a re-acquaintance with uncertainty in regards to the world and its continuing formation. Similar to automatic drawing, its compositions start with shapes cut randomly from plywood. Painting and arranging these shapes acts as a form of divination, generating meaningful relationships through colouration and layering. While the shapes remain physically discrete, they visually mimic and morph into one another, distorted but not exhausted by their relations.
