A solo exhibition by LEVEL artist in residence Leena Riethmuller.
During Leena Riethmuller’s residency, she ran a six week somatic experience workshop involving 5 participants. Each week, a task was introduced to engage the participants in new bodily experiences. The participants discussed their own and other group member’s responses to the task, and reflected upon they way context and subjectivity effect experience. The workshops promoted a pragmatic approach to bodily exploration and encouraged personal, social, political and phenomenological discussion. More Human exhibits a collection of the participants’ documentation and reflection on each of the workshop tasks. It will provoke fascination and disgust and most importantly give insight into the bodily experiences of others.
