Milani Gallery

For the last five years Nigel Lendon has been working on a series of three- and four-dimensional objects each carrying the generic title “model”, sometimes with a subtitle.  The concept of understanding each new work as a model enables each piece to be seen as an element in a continuum stretching from the distant past to the potentiality of future discoveries. Time spent with the work – as with the concept of a tesseract – is a microcosm of this continuum.

Opening event: Friday 7th October, 6 – 8pm

Image: 2015:10. “Model: Tesseract” 2015 (13 variants of 2013:9, acrylic on PR., each 126 x 148 x298) total including wall plinth 2004 x 272 x 572.
