The inaugural Paper off Skin is now calling for entries. A sister event to Paper on Skin. Since 2012 Paper on Skin has driven extraordinary innovation in the world of wearable paper art.
Paper off Skin gives artists, designers and papermakers the opportunity to explore the unique and versatile qualities of paper as a medium of creativity. The competition will expand the artistry and innovation seen in the works of Paper on Skin – without the works needing to be wearable.
Works must be garment-inspired, linked to wearable art, or demonstrate the development of techniques/methodology which could be used in future wearable paper artwork.
Paper off Skin 2022 will be curated by Dr Grace Pundyk. Dr Pundyk will pre-select the works.
