Deadline:

29 February
Institute of Modern Art

Experimental musicians and organisers Coo present a night of visceral sonic force, tinkling kinetic machines, and auditory hallucination.

Join us for performances by three powerhouses of the local experimental music scene—Yvette Ofa AgapowRoss Manning, and Mong Mong.

Agapow works at the intersection of noise, ambient, and drone music, with vocal and percussion improvisation. She interrogates her personal relationship to pain, catharsis, sexual hysteria, and feminine subjectivity.

Manning facilitates interactions of light, sound, and physics. He cannibalises and Frankensteins machines, experimenting with their sonic potential. Repurposing technologies, he creates dynamic sculptures and atmospheric installations.

Mong Mong are drummer Boddhi Farmer and guitarist Glen Schenau.
