Deadline:

Deadline:22nd February, 2022

The Internship gives a broad introduction to working life at a gallery and is best suited to students or those at the early stages of their career. Our interns work closely with staff members to undertake daily operations across the QCA Galleries for one trimester.
Interns will have supervised access to our gallery facilities when feasible, and will learn about installing exhibitions, reporting and other hands-on gallery skills, while following social distancing measures. Interns will also be involved with online engagement, marketing and arts administration. This program is designed to equip interns with the basic skills needed to secure meaningful and flexible working opportunities in our post-pandemic environment.
These are the steps involved in the application process:
1. Complete the online application by Friday, 18th February 2022.
2. QCA Galleries staff will notify you of the outcome of your application in due course.
3. If your application is progressed, we will contact you to organise a brief phone or video interview by Tuesday, 22nd February.
4. Successful applicants will be offered a placement in the Internship Program and staff will organise enrolment into your selected WIL course, if applicable.
If you have any questions relating to this program, please email n.holly@griffith.edu.au.
