The Queensland Regional Art Awards (QRAA) is an annual visual arts prize and exhibition for established and emerging artists living in regional and remote Queensland. The program aims to provide a platform for further professional development.

Artists currently residing in Queensland outside of the Brisbane City Council boundary are eligible to enter the Queensland Regional Art Awards.

The theme this year is ‘State of Diversity’:

Queensland is a state full of diverse ecosystems, wildlife, places, people and personalities. This year, artists are encouraged to explore the diverse elements and qualities that make up their own communities and locations within Queensland.

The theme is to be addressed in an accompanying artist statement of 100 – 150 words.

All entries that meet competition requirements are eligible for the $10,000 Holding Redlich ‘Art for Life’ Award, People’s Choice Award, and for selection in the touring exhibition.
