Queer Here is returning for 2024 and are looking for creatives to submit work! In partnership with Brisbane Pride Inc., the exhibition celebrates the talents, vision and experiences of queer artists from Brisbane/Meanjin. The exhibition is open to students, alumni and staff of Griffith University but also to the wider community.
What you need to know:
– Please ensure you have read the terms and conditions document here:
– Works can be submitted in any medium, including performance.
– Works must have been created in the past 12 months and cannot have been submitted to the 2023 Queer Here exhibition.
– Artworks will be selected by a committee
– $500 will be awarded to one artist on opening night.
– There is no theme for the exhibition this year.
– Artists are asked to present their work ready to exhibit, framed or in a manner that can be presented easily.
