Excerpts 2018 is QUT Visual Art’s showcase of postgraduate contemporary art practice. The diverse array of images and experiences in this exhibition display the emerging edge of academic research and contemporary art.
The exhibition features creative works by artists Karike Ashworth, Naomi Blacklock, Christopher Handran, Chris Howlett, Annie Macindoe, Meaghan Shelton and Elizabeth Willing produced during their postgraduate studies. These artists use video, performance, sculpture and photography to ask compelling and incisive questions of culture, history, and personal experience.
