Currently in its 53rd year, the Redcliffe Art Society continues to strengthen creativity in the region by promoting local talent and providing a platform for learning and growth in the visual arts.
The long-standing tradition of the RASart Exhibition of Excellence continues in 2014 with an extraordinary collection of work that reflects the richness and diversity of local artists. Categories include land and streetscape, sea and waterscape, portraiture and figure, still life and interior, flora and fauna and abstract and contemporary.
RASart Exhibition of Excellence is proudly hosted Moreton Bay Regional Council at the Redcliffe City Art Gallery and the major sponsor in 2014 is the Margate Community Bendigo Bank.
Other sponsors are Moreton Bay Regional Council, Toys Muffler & Mechanical, Northstar Motor Group, Terry White Retail Group, Yvette D’Ath MP State Member for Redcliffe, Luke Howarth MP Federal Member for Petrie, Arthouse Northside and the Redcliffe Art Society. The Exhibition is also complemented with privately sponsored awards from Eva Hekel and from the family of Bill and Theresa Whiting.
