Continuing from ‘A set of new skills: weaving & welding’ and ‘A set of new skills: chair making, Sarah will be teaching people how to sew broad brim hats’. As part of their practice, Sarah participates in skill-sharing and DIY forms of knowledge. They learn a how to do something, document the process, and facilitate other people learning the same skill.

Sarah will be at Boxcopy from 10am – 3pm on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th. If you’re interested, please confirm attendance through the Eventbrite. All materials and equipment provided, but if you’d like to use a specific fabric feel free to bring it along. There will be three sewing machines available, approximate hat-making timeframe is 3 hours.

On the 21st of Dec at 4pm we’ll be having an opening picnic at The Pocket Community Garden, Woolloongabba with some food provided. All welcome! Hats recommended.
