Sculpture Bermagui brings diverse three-dimensional art to the public for 10 days every Autumn. It showcases the skill and imagination of sculptors by gathering works from established and renowned artists, along with emerging talent, from across the country. Passion for visual arts and cultural growth is driving this uniquely placed sculpture exhibition forward. An expanding list of cash and in-kind prizes and awards is made possible through the generosity and active support of our local patrons, local and regional businesses and organisations.
Each year, an audience of many thousands flock to Sculpture Bermagui. They come from the local community and South East NSW, Sydney and across NSW, Melbourne and Victoria, as well as from Canberra and the ACT. Travellers from other states and overseas also make a point of visiting this unique exhibition.
Sculpture Bermagui acknowledges the Yuin Nation and is grateful for the use of Djiringanj land on which the exhibition takes place. The local region has an active and increasingly visible First Nation culture. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy talented artists, recognised storytellers, dance groups, musicians and galleries. Nearby places of indigenous significance to experience include Gulaga, the Mother mountain, Gulaga National Park, Wallaga Lake, Biamanga National Park and those along the Bermagui–Wallaga Lake Yuin Cultural Heritage Trail .
