This exhibition considers women in a host of unfamiliar and familiar roles: as rage-driven destructive force, as victim of the frailties of the female body, as weekend feminist or weekday slave to domestic ritual.
The resulting works offer an insight into the complexity of women’s lived experiences and the intersection of identity, gender and culture.
