The Straddie Arts Trail returns for its fifth year, transforming Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) into a vibrant celebration of contemporary art, culture and creativity across four days.
Presented as a free, community-driven event, the trail features 70+ artists and makers across 33 creative stops spanning the island’s three townships. Visitors can explore open studios, exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, live demonstrations, pop-up galleries and cultural experiences while discovering the island’s unique creative community.
The 2026 program includes an opening celebration at QUAMPI Arts & Culture Centre, live painting by Kieron Anderson and Dean Tyson, exhibitions by Robyn Olsen and Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, photography sessions with Tim Van Vuuren, nature-inspired art workshops, ceramics, plein air painting, film screenings, artist conversations and numerous opportunities to meet artists working on or inspired by Minjerribah.
Visitors can also participate in guided workshops, browse local galleries, purchase original artworks directly from artists and experience the island’s rich cultural and natural landscapes throughout the weekend.
The Straddie Arts Trail is free to attend, with some workshops and special events requiring bookings.
