Studio Maverik presents weekly social life drawing sessions at the iconic Flying Colours in West End. Designed for both beginners and experienced life drawers, these relaxed sessions combine traditional life drawing with a friendly, social atmosphere.
Each session features a professional nude life model, with poses ranging from short warm-ups to longer studies. The sessions are self-guided and facilitated by local artists Frances and Rhianna, creating a welcoming, low-pressure environment for drawing and connection.
Held in the upstairs studio space at Flying Colours, participants can enjoy a mid-session break to chat, grab a drink, or continue working. Flying Colours’ bar and kitchen are open throughout the evening, serving pizza, snacks, and drinks downstairs.
All basic drawing materials are provided, including paper, boards, pencils, and markers, with artists welcome to bring additional materials if desired. Seated and floor seating options are available. Please arrive 15 minutes early to set up before the 6:30pm start.
