Deadline:

Project Gallery, QCA

With the concept of ‘home’ as foundation, Helle Cook explores liminality and light in translucent layers of paint on canvas and sheer textile. Drawing on a heightened awareness of the difference in Nordic and Australian light and environment, Suspended Light lingers ambiguously in an illuminated threshold between sense of place, memory, abstraction and figuration.

With interest in the immersive and affecting experience of light and space, Cook invites the viewer to engage with their own sensory perception and imagination.

Opening Times: Tuesday – Saturday, 10am to 4pm
Where: Project Gallery, 226 Grey Street, South Bank, 4101
