Join Griffith University Art Museum for a special celebration of CAIA – Griffith University’s Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art program.

As the only program of its kind in Australia, CAIA has played a vital role in shaping the story of contemporary Indigenous art, with deep community connections and strong ties between teachers, students, alumni, and artist collective proppaNOW.

Presented in conjunction with the current exhibition Collecting the Future: 50 Years of the Griffith University Art Collection, this event features a panel discussion reflecting on CAIA’s enduring impact on Australia’s cultural landscape and the emerging generation of Indigenous artists it continues to support.
