Join artist Sidney McMahon to delve into your inner weird and make some art that celebrates you, just as you are. A workshop as individual as you, we’ll start out by sharing what we’re into at the moment (TikTok? Six the musical? Long furbies?), and work together on using these interests to think about and explore who we are right now.
Sidney grew up in Dalby and studied art in Toowoomba. They now live in Sydney with their french bulldog Stuart where they make art and work with other artists. They have shown their artwork across Australia and overseas. Sidney identifies as being non-binary and loves thinking about big ideas as they float in water.
FREE PIZZA LUNCH.
After lunch, help us plan a Youth Art Party to coincide with the Things I want to say exhibition in May 2023. Think workshops, music, DJs, theatre, dance, food and anything else you’d like.
Workshop: Saturday 27 August, 11am – 3pm
