UNION WITH REALITY: THE ART OF LEONARD BROWN

23 October-23 December
Union with reality brings together over three decades of work by this important Queensland artist and offers a rare insight into Brown’s extraordinarily rich, parallel practices—a painter in the Western tradition of abstractionism and an Icon painter following Eastern Orthodox religious tradition.

THE 60TH BLAKE PRIZE

28 October-23 December
The Blake Prize is one of Australia’s longest standing, most highly sought after, and at times controversial art prizes. Since its inception in 1951, The Blake Prize has stimulated a fascinating dialogue between art and religion in all its manifestations.
